Account & Billing
Account & Billing is where you view your current plan, check employee count and storage usage, review past purchases, request offline payments, and upgrade your subscription. It is the single place for all subscription and billing management inside PMSuite.
Who can use it
Only administrators (super-admin and tenant-admin roles) can access Billing. Non-admin employees and clients do not see this page.
Prerequisites
You must have an active PMSuite account. No additional setup is required to view your plan details or purchase history.
How to access
Open Settings from the sidebar, then select Billing at the bottom of the settings list. The direct URL is /account/settings/billing.
You can also reach it from the Billing quick-link that appears in the sidebar footer area alongside the Help link.
Plan Details tab
The Plan Details tab is the default view when you open Billing. It shows:
- Current plan name — the plan your account is on.
- Employee count — how many employees are currently in the system versus the limit for your plan tier.
- Storage usage — how much of your included storage has been consumed.
- Upgrade Plan button — starts the upgrade flow (see below).
For current plan options and pricing, visit the public pricing page (opens in a new tab).
Understanding storage
Each plan includes a fixed amount of file storage used by uploads across the platform (documents, profile pictures, knowledge-base files, ticket attachments, and so on). The storage gauge on Plan Details shows consumption at a glance. If you approach your limit, consider removing unused files or upgrading your plan for more capacity.
Upgrading your plan
Click Upgrade Plan on the Plan Details tab. The upgrade flow shows you the available plan options. When upgrading from a lower tier, you pay only the difference between what you already paid and the new plan price — you are not charged the full price again.
After completing the upgrade, the new limits (employee cap, storage) take effect immediately. No data migration or downtime is involved.
Note: If the upgrade payment does not go through or gets stuck, the Billing page surfaces the pending payment so you can retry. Check the Purchase History tab for the transaction status.
Purchase History tab
The Purchase History tab lists every completed and pending transaction on your account — plan purchases, upgrades, and add-ons. Use it to:
- Confirm that a payment was recorded.
- Check the date and status of past transactions.
- Identify a stuck or failed payment that needs attention.
Offline Request tab
The Offline Request tab lets you submit a payment request when you prefer to pay outside the standard online checkout (for example, via bank transfer). An administrator reviews the request and marks it as received once payment is confirmed.
Effect on other features
| Area | How Billing connects |
|---|---|
| Employee management | Your plan determines the maximum number of employees you can add. Hitting the cap blocks new employee creation until you upgrade. |
| File uploads | Storage quota affects every module that accepts file uploads — projects, tickets, knowledge base, HR documents, and more. |
| White-label add-on | White-label is a separate one-time add-on purchased independently of your plan tier. It appears as its own line item in Purchase History. |
Limitations
| Limitation | Workaround |
|---|---|
| Billing is admin-only — employees and clients cannot view plan or usage details. | Share relevant information manually, or export a screenshot of the Plan Details tab. |
| The Billing page does not display a detailed per-module storage breakdown. | Review large uploads in individual modules (Projects → Files, Tickets → attachments) to identify what is consuming space. |
Troubleshooting
I upgraded but still see the old employee limit. Log out and back in. If the limit still shows the old value, check Purchase History to confirm the upgrade payment completed successfully.
My upgrade payment is stuck or shows as pending. Open the Purchase History tab. If the transaction shows a pending or failed status, retry the payment from there. If the issue persists, contact support at info@pmsuite.co.
I do not see the Billing link in Settings. Billing is visible only to administrator roles. Confirm your role under Settings → Roles & Permissions, or ask an existing admin to check for you.
