Creating a Notice
The Notice Board lets you post announcements to your team or clients inside your PMSuite workspace. Each notice targets either employees or clients, keeping communications relevant for each audience without overlap. The notice list is searchable and exportable.
Who Can Use It
Users whose role has Create permission for the Workspace module. Permission levels are set per role in Settings → Roles & Permissions → Workspace.

- At least one employee record must exist to post to the employee audience.
- At least one client record must exist to post to the client audience.

| Date | The date to associate with the notice. | Yes |

Effect on Other Features
Notifications
Posting a notice triggers the Notice Published notification event. Depending on what is configured in Settings → Notification Settings, recipients in the selected audience receive alerts via:
- Email — if the Notice Published event is enabled on the Email tab.
- Slack — if a Slack incoming webhook is connected and the Notice Published checkbox is enabled on the Slack tab (Settings → Notification Settings → Slack).
- Push Notification — if push alerts are enabled for this event.
Module Visibility
If the Notices module is toggled off for a user type in Settings → Module Settings, those users will not see the Notice Board at all. Verify the module is active for the audience you intend to reach before posting.
Limitations
| Limitation | Workaround |
|---|---|
| A single notice reaches either employees or clients — not both audiences in one record. | Create two separate notices with identical content: set Audience to Employee on one and Client on the other. |
Troubleshooting
Notice does not appear for the intended audience Confirm the Audience field was set to the correct value (Employee or Client) when the notice was created. Also verify the Notices module is enabled for that user type under Settings → Module Settings.
Recipient did not receive a notification Check that the Notice Published event is active in Settings → Notification Settings for each channel (Email, Slack, Push Notification). Confirm the recipient has not individually opted out of that notification type.
Add button is not visible Your role may not have Create permission for the Workspace module. Ask an administrator to review Settings → Roles & Permissions → Workspace and grant the appropriate level.
