E-Invoice Settings
Electronic invoicing networks identify each business by a structured electronic address rather than an email address. E-Invoice Settings is where you record the identifiers your company trades under on those networks, so invoices PMSuite produces carry the details a receiving system expects.
You only need this if you exchange invoices over an e-invoicing network. If you email PDF invoices, you can leave this screen alone.
Who can use it
- Admins configure this. The values are company-wide and apply to the whole workspace.
Prerequisites
- Set your country in Business Address first. E-Invoice Settings does not have a country field of its own; it inherits the country from your Business Address, and the screen says so directly. Configure that before filling anything in here.
- The identifiers themselves, from whoever registered your business on the e-invoicing network. Both the values and their scheme codes are issued to you; they are not something you can invent.
How to Access
Navigation: Sidebar → Settings → E-Invoice Settings (/account/settings/einvoice).

What you can set
| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Electronic Address | Your company's address on the e-invoicing network |
| Electronic Address Scheme | The scheme that address belongs to, which tells a receiving system how to interpret it |
| Company ID | Your company's registration identifier |
| Company ID Scheme | The scheme that identifier belongs to |
Each identifier is paired with a scheme because the same digits can mean different things under different registries. The scheme is what removes the ambiguity, so the pairs must be filled in together.
Limitations and workarounds
- Country is inherited, not set here. If it is wrong, this screen cannot fix it. Workaround: change it in Business Addresses and return.
- One set of identifiers per workspace. You cannot hold different identifiers for different trading entities in one workspace. Workaround: keep separate workspaces for separate legal entities.
- PMSuite does not validate identifiers against the network. A typo saves cleanly and only fails later, at the receiving end. Workaround: copy the values from your registration confirmation rather than retyping, and send one invoice as a test before switching over.
- Filling this in does not by itself transmit invoices. These are the identifiers your invoices carry, not a live connection to a network. Workaround: confirm the delivery route with your e-invoicing provider.
Troubleshooting
- The screen tells you to select a country. No country is set on your Business Address. Set it there, then come back.
- A recipient rejects your invoice as having an invalid address. The Electronic Address and its Scheme disagree, or the scheme code is wrong. Re-check both against your registration.
- You do not know your scheme codes. They come from whoever registered you on the network. PMSuite does not derive them.
