OKR Scoring

OKR Score is the Performance module page where you review how objectives are progressing, expressed as a score rather than as a list of individual goals. It sits alongside Objectives and 1:1 Meetings in the Performance area, and it reads from the goals your company has already created, so there is nothing to fill in on the page itself.

Who can use it

Access follows the Performance goal types configured for your company. PMSuite defines three goal types — Individual, Department and Company — and each one has its own separate View and Manage permission. What you see on the OKR Score page therefore depends on which goal types your role is allowed to view. If a colleague sees scores you do not, the difference is almost always a per-goal-type View permission, not a bug.

Prerequisites

  • The Performance module must be enabled for your company in Settings → Module Settings. Performance is one of the toggleable modules, and when it is off the Performance menu (including OKR Score) does not appear at all.
  • Your role must have View permission for at least one goal type (Individual, Department or Company).
  • Objectives must exist, with key results attached — the score page reports on existing goals rather than creating them.

How to Access

Navigation: Sidebar → Performance → OKR Score

Direct URL: /account/okr-scoring

The related Performance pages are Objective (/account/objectives) and 1:1 Meetings (/account/meetings).

OKR Scoring

Configure scoring metrics first

Scoring depends on how key results are measured, and that is configured centrally rather than per goal.

  1. Go to Settings → Performance Settings.
  2. Open the Key Results Metrics tab and review the metrics available to your company. These are the measurement types your key results can use.
  3. Use the Notification Settings tab to control Performance-related notifications.
  4. Use the 1:1 Meeting Settings tab for the meeting side of the module.
  5. Save your changes.

Because metrics are company-wide, agree on them before people start writing key results — changing metrics after the fact means revisiting goals that already use the old ones.

Effect on other features

  • Objectives: OKR Score reflects the objectives and key results maintained on the Objective page; edits made there are what change what you see here.
  • Performance Settings: the Key Results Metrics tab determines the measurement options behind the scores.
  • Roles & Permissions: the per-goal-type View/Manage permissions decide whose objectives are visible to whom.
  • Module Settings: turning Performance off removes the whole area, including OKR Score, from the navigation.
  • 1:1 Meetings: scores give managers concrete material to bring to the 1:1 Meetings page.

Limitations

  • Scores are only as good as the underlying key results. A goal with no measurable key result cannot contribute a meaningful score. Workaround: define each key result against one of the metrics set up in Performance Settings → Key Results Metrics before the cycle starts.
  • Visibility is restricted by goal type. You cannot see department- or company-level scores without the matching View permission, so a manager may be unable to review a team member's picture. Workaround: ask an admin to grant View on the relevant goal type in Roles & Permissions.
  • The page is not a substitute for context. A number does not explain why progress stalled. Workaround: pair the score review with a 1:1 Meeting (/account/meetings) and record the discussion there.

Troubleshooting

  • No Performance menu at all — the Performance module is disabled. Ask an admin to enable it in Settings → Module Settings.
  • OKR Score page is empty — no objectives exist yet for the goal types you can view. Create them on /account/objectives.
  • You can see some goals but not others — this is expected: Individual, Department and Company goals each carry separate View permissions. Have an admin check your role.
  • A key result cannot be measured the way you want — the metric list comes from Settings → Performance Settings → Key Results Metrics; adjust it there rather than working around it in the goal text.
  • Not receiving Performance notifications — check Settings → Performance Settings → Notification Settings.
