Zoom Meetings

Zoom Meetings

Zoom is a genuine native integration in PMSuite. Once configured, PMSuite connects directly to your Zoom account so your team can run video meetings without leaving the platform — with meeting credentials managed centrally by your workspace admin.

Who Can Use It

  • Company Admin — configures the integration in Settings → Zoom Settings.
  • Zoom can also be enabled or disabled for your whole workspace as a module in Settings → Module Settings (see Module Settings).

Prerequisites

  • Company Admin access to your PMSuite workspace.
  • A Zoom account, plus a Zoom app created in your Zoom account so you can obtain the required credentials (Account ID, Client ID, Client Secret, and a Secret Token for webhook verification). These are generated on Zoom's side — consult Zoom's own documentation for creating an app if you have not done this before.

How to Access

Navigation: Sidebar → Settings → Zoom Settings.

The Zoom Settings page has three tabs: Zoom Settings, Slack, and Email Settings.

Note: the Slack tab on this page contains only a single Zoom Meeting created checkbox, which controls whether Zoom-meeting-created events are sent as Slack notifications. Slack itself is connected under Settings → Notification Settings → Slack — see Slack Integration.

Setting Up the Integration

On the Zoom Settings tab, enter the credentials from your Zoom app:

FieldDescription
Account IDYour Zoom account ID.
Client IDThe Client ID from your Zoom app.
Client SecretThe Client Secret from your Zoom app.
Meeting Client IDThe Client ID used for meetings.
Meeting Client SecretThe Client Secret used for meetings.
Secret TokenThe verification token Zoom uses for webhook callbacks.

The page also provides:

  • An "Open in Zoom Client App" toggle — controls whether meetings open in the installed Zoom desktop client.
  • A Webhook URL — copy this into your Zoom app's event configuration so Zoom can send event callbacks back to PMSuite.

Save the settings once all fields are filled in.

Limitations

  • The Slack tab here only covers Zoom-meeting-created events. The Slack connection itself (webhook URL, status, and the full event list) is configured under Settings → Notification Settings → Slack — see Slack Integration.
  • The integration relies on credentials you manage in your Zoom account. If you regenerate a Client Secret or token on Zoom's side, update the matching field in Settings → Zoom Settings.

Troubleshooting

  • Meetings not working after a credential change in Zoom — re-enter the updated Client Secret / Meeting Client Secret / Secret Token in Settings → Zoom Settings and save again.
  • Zoom event callbacks not arriving — confirm the Webhook URL shown on the Zoom Settings page is entered in your Zoom app's configuration, and that the Secret Token in PMSuite matches the token in your Zoom app.
  • Zoom options missing entirely — check that the Zoom module is enabled in Settings → Module Settings.
